Most of them will be through his father and potentially his step brother, but there are still the few that he is able to make out to be who he knows on his own terms. The problem with Garrett is he has a difficult time getting close to someone. One might call it daddy issues but Garrett simply has his own issues that he has never settled. That being said, once he does meet someone that has enough dedication to actually be seen as too loyal. He will always cling onto that person, do absolutely anything to protect that person, even if it means getting a little rough. He has made a lot of enemies in his life time because of his "bad boy" attitude. One thing that always gets in his way of even trying to reason with people, or even trying to admit that he was wrong in a situation is his pride. He likes to carry himself as a strong, level-headed human being. He wants to be respected by those who "matter" and will put on this happy face for them, but if a moment is given to him, or maybe some vodka his personality can change faces. If you have the change to truly see Garrett for who he is, you'd see that he is emotionally scared and just needs someone who will stay in his life long enough to care. _________________________ plot with him, he needs some love in his life |
