Maybe there'd be something far more artistic to the realm that she'd be dabbling rather than the static, structured life style that she was currently forcing herself to live in. Taking an interest in business was something that she was never certain she'd fall into. She remembered the day she walked into her first lecture course and everyone looked at her bare arms, questioning why a girl with tattoos would ever want to take anything that might be considered "normal." Of course, they never said that, but it was their eyes that did for Eden. Soon, she realized that she was going to have to work a lot harder than she originally thought she'd have to in the class. It wasn't that she wasn't intelligent enough to handle the class, but simple that she wanted to prove something to herself, and to the others in the class she was certain only judged her. So now this place, the library, has become her home. Currently she was the only one at her table, not that she offered very much room for another person to interact with her. Multiple books were sprawled around her while her main pencil and pad of paper were in her lap so she could write down absolutely everything she was taking in. Many of the books already reflected the same things that she had learned in class. Sometimes rereading it gave her a headache but she felt like it was important to drill it all into her head no matter what. It was the one day that she forgot any form of music to keep her focused. Instead she bought a kinder surprise as a form of motivation. For every section of a chapter she read, she was allowed to take a bite out of the chocolate. It was a strange system but it was the only way she thought she was going to get anything to remain inside of her mind. There were too many other conversations going on. Every one else in the library were actually studying out loud with their friends, or else were just doing whatever "useless," and loud activity that drove Eden nuts. She was close to the point of being that girl who swore at them all to quiet down before she ripped their tongues out and submitted it to a biology class for their studies. tagged, open notes, meow post! broken and trapped in a steel cage |
